At Movemeant Foundation we believe that everybody is meant to move and our mission is to provide body-positive, self-confidence building tools, resources and experience where fitness and physical movement is the gateway to feeling powerful.

You're invited to Movemeant's Gala, The Future is Female on Thursday, March 8th from 7-11p (the evening of National Women's Health Day!) at Gallery 308, Fort Mason. Dress up in your cutest cocktail attire for a fun night out with your friends while helping fund health & wellness programs for girls to build confidence, community and leadership skills! Join forces with Movemeant + a few of the Bay Area's most powerful and successful women in business, including the President of Williams Sonoma, Janet Hayes, over a panel discussion on how routine exercise helped them build a foundation of confidence and empowered them to pursue a career and life they've always dreamed of.

On this inspiring night there will be a live performance by Movemeant's body-positive Middle School girls, a live auction, open bar with wine poured by Durant & Booth, bites from Little Green Cyclo, A-16, Mixt & Tosca, photo booth, Live DJ, and a dance party led by Shonna Chiles from Confidance.

Learn more about Movemeant's impact:
Through our national large-scale We Dare to Bare fitness festivalsathletic scholarships and body-positive, movement-based curriculum for at-risk and underprivileged Middle School girls, Movemeant Foundation has helped over 30,000 women to build self-esteem, self-confidence and positive body image through health and fitness. Just like the girls we support, we dream big and need your help to fulfill our upcoming goals. In 2017 we served in over 25 Title I schools in San Francisco County and gave $30,000 of individual athletic scholarships in December alone.
Our vision for 2018 is to implement the Movemeant body-positive, activity based curriculum into 30 additional middle schools in the Bay Area and in new markets. The average cost to implement our curriculum per semester at a single middle school is $1,680. Every donation helps a young girl build a strong sense of self and confidence within a safe and inspiring community of like-minded individuals. Help us hit our goal of raising $60,000 for our impact programs in 2018 through individual or corporate donations, social media promotion (share our fb invite with your friends!), or by becoming a sponsor (contact jenny@movemeant.org).
